Chicken Cordon Bleu

  • 6 chicken breasts
  • 8 oz. pkg. Swiss cheese
  • 8 oz. pkg. ham
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 6 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. dry white wine
  • 1 chicken bouillon
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 c. heavy cream

Directions

    Place cheese and ham slices on chicken; fold over and fasten with toothpicks.

    Mix flour and paprika; coat chicken.

    Cook chicken over medium heat in butter until brown on all sides.

    Add wine and bouillon.

    Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes or until tender.

    Remove toothpicks.

    Blend cream and cornstarch. Remove chicken from skillet.

    Add cream mixture to pan and stir until thickened.

    Serve over chicken.
