  • 1 Tbsp. minced onion or shallot
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/4 c. half and half
  • 1 c. diced, cooked chicken
  • 1 Tbsp. sherry (optional)
  • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan or Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 c. sliced almonds

    Melt butter; add onion or shallot and saute until soft.
