- 4 slices bacon
- 1/4 c. chopped celery
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1/8 tsp. garlic salt/powder
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. milk
- 3/4 c. chicken broth
- 1/2 c. applesauce
- 3 Tbsp. ketchup
- 2 1/2 tsp. curry powder
- 2 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
- cooked rice
Directions

1Fry bacon crisp; set aside.

2Retain 1 tablespoon bacon grease. Add celery, onion and garlic to grease.

3Stir and cook for several minutes.

4Add flour and stir until flour begins to cook. Add milk, broth, applesauce, ketchup and curry powder to make a sauce.

5When sauce begins to thicken, crumble bacon and add bacon and chicken to sauce.

6Heat through.

7Serve over rice.
