- 1 frying chicken
- 1 medium onion
- 1 Tbsp. curry powder
- 1 Tbsp. ginger
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- dash of salt and pepper
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Directions

1Boil chicken until tender.

2Save two cups of chicken broth. Slice onion and saute in the shortening.

3Add flour, curry, ginger, salt, pepper and lemon juice.

4Simmer until onions are soft.

5Add chicken broth and chicken.

6Cook one-half hour over medium heat.

7Serve over rice.
