Chicken Dumpling Soup

  • 5 c. water
  • 3 chicken breasts with bone on and skin
  • 2 cans College Inn chicken broth
  • 3 stalks celery (leaves and all), chopped
  • 1/2 yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. dried basil
  • 1 Tbsp. dried oregano
  • 1 tsp. celery flakes
  • 2 carrots, peeled and chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer for 2 to 3 hours. Take chicken out of broth; shred meat (discarding skin and bones) and place meat back in broth.
