1Boil the chicken in water until completely done.

3When done, remove chicken from broth.

4Make biscuit dough. Roll out dough as thin as possible; cut dough into strips about 1-inch wide.

5While the broth boils rapidly, break off the strips in pieces about 2-inches long and put into broth.

6Pepper to taste.

7Take the meat off the bones and put parts of the meat into the dumplings.

8If necessary, add some butter for richness.

9Do not let the dumplings get too dry.

10Add broth.
