- 1/4 c. oleo
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 can chicken rice soup
- 1 can chicken broth
- 3 c. cut up, cooked chicken
- 1/4 c. slivered almonds
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 pkg. frozen asparagus pieces
Directions

1Melt oleo in pan.

2Add almonds.

3Brown lightly.

4Add flour, salt and pepper.

5Blend well.

6Add soup and broth.

7Stir until thick and smooth.

8Defrost asparagus.

9Grease a 2-quart casserole. Arrange chicken and asparagus in alternate layers.

10Put sauce over.

11Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
