Ingredients

  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp. garlic paste
  • 1 grated onion
  • 1/2 tsp. crushed cumin
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. freshly ground red chilies
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 3 Tbsp. ghee (shortening), divided
  • Flour
  • Breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 Tbsp. dried mint
  • 1 egg, beaten

Directions

    Wash breasts and divide in halves like chops.

    Mix garlic, grated onion, cumin, salt, pepper, chili, lemon and 1 Tbsp. ghee. Spread over halved breasts and place in well-buttered dish.

    Cover with foil and bake in oven for a half hour at 350°F. Cool chicken breasts on wire rack.
