  • 1 large fryer, stewed and boned
  • 1 doz. soft tortillas, broken into nickel size
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 small can Ro-Tel tomatoes and chilies
  • 1 c. chicken broth

Directions

    Combine chicken soup, mushroom soup, tomatoes (use only 1/2 can if you don't like real hot food) and chicken broth for sauce. Grease a large flat casserole (13 x 9-inch or similar size).

    Fix in casserole a layer of chicken, layer of tortillas, onion, then cheese and sauce.

    Then repeat your layers again, but this time end up with cheese.

    Cover the dish with foil for the first 30 minutes while baking at 350°.

    Uncover for the last 30 minutes.
