- 4 -6 chicken breasts, pounded out
- 34 cup marsala wine
- 2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans beef broth, if condensed add water
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves
- flour
- salt
- pepper
- rice or egg noodles
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil or 2 tablespoons olive oil
Directions

1Mix flour with salt and pepper.

2Dredge chicken breasts in egg, then add to flour mixture.

3Heat butter and oil in pan over medium-medium high heat.

4Saute' chicken breasts a few minutes on each side.

5Do not cook all the way through.

6Take out chicken, add garlic and saute for 30 seconds.

7Then add the mushrooms and saute' until brown.

8Add marsala wine and deglaze the pan.

9Add beef broth and simmer for approximately 15 minutes.

10Add chicken back into th pan, cover and simmer for about 10 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.

11Serve with either rice or egg noodles.
