Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 6 large boned chicken breasts
  • 2 Tbsp. seasoned salt
  • 1/2 tsp. leaf tarragon
  • 1 c. dry white wine
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. chopped chives

Directions

    Wash mushrooms and cut in half or slice.

    Saute them in 2 tablespoons butter.

    Remove them temporarily.

    Add remaining butter; melt.

    Sprinkle chicken with salt and brown thoroughly. Return mushrooms to pan.

    Sprinkle all with tarragon.

    Add wine. Simmer for 30 minutes.

    Remove chicken and mushrooms to plate. Stir sour cream into juices (use a whisk to keep it smooth).

    Pour sour cream mixture over chicken.

    Sprinkle with chives and serve.
