- 10 chicken legs or thighs
- water
- 2 celery stalks, halved
- 2 carrots, halved
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 carrots, sliced in coins
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 pkg. narrow egg noodles
Directions

1Put chicken in Dutch oven; cover with water.

2Add salt, pepper, halved celery, halved carrots, onion and garlic.

3Bring to a boil.

4Cover and reduce heat; simmer 1 1/2 hours.

5Remove and discard celery and carrots.

6Remove chicken; bone, skin and cut in bite size pieces.

7Return meat to stock.

8Add carrot coins and simmer for 30 minutes.

9Add noodles and simmer 10 to 15 minutes.
