  • Market Day chicken steaks or any boneless chicken breast
  • seasoned or Italian bread crumbs
  • 1 pkg. sliced Mozzarella cheese
  • Parmesan cheese
  • 1 (16 oz.) jar Italian cooking sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten

Directions

    Dip chicken in egg and bread crumbs.

    Brown in oil.

    Place in a shallow baking pan and layer with sliced Mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, sauce and then another layer of Parmesan cheese. Cook at 350° for 30 minutes, uncovered.

    Add 10 minutes to cooking time if you forgo browning in oil.

    Serve over pasta.
