- 4 split chicken breasts
- 1 large jar picante sauce
- 1 (8 oz.) brick monterey jack cheese, grated
- 2 c. cooked rice
Directions

1Place chicken breasts in bottom of a 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Cover the chicken with one-half of the grated cheese.

2Pour the entire jar of picante sauce over the chicken, completely covering it.

3Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.

4Bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour or until chicken is done.

5Place remaining cheese on top of dish and continue baking for 5 to 10 minutes, until cheese is melted.

6Serve over cooked rice.
