  • 1 hen or 2 large fryers, cooked in medium amount of water until tender
  • 1 or 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 1/2 c. Bisquick
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • buttermilk
  • grated American or mild Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Remove chicken from bone.

    Cut in bite-size pieces.
  3. 3
    Be sure and remove skin.
  4. 4
    Soak chicken in broth overnight, removing all fat next day.
  5. 5
    Use for each chicken, one can of soup after removing from broth and place in a large Pyrex dish.

    Add enough broth with soup to be juicy but not too soupy (top with this).
