Ingredients

  • 1 large cooked fryer
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • dash of salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 1/2 c. broth
  • 3 eggs, boiled
  • 1 c. milk

Directions

    Have fryer boiled and cooled.

    Remove meat from bones and cut up into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

    (Spray dish with Pam.)

    Cut boiled eggs over meat.
  5. 5
    Sprinkle salt and pepper.

    Combine celery soup and broth.

    Bring to a boil to dissolve lumps by stirring. Pour over the eggs and meat.

    Mix milk and flour into a bowl until most of lumps are gone.

    Spoon over the top of mixture.

    Dot with butter.

    Cook in 350° oven about 45 minutes to an hour.

    Be sure the top of pie is slightly brown.
