Chicken Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 large fryer or 5 breasts, salted, cooked, skinned, deboned and cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 stick margarine

    After chicken is cooked and cut up, place in a large baking dish (9 x 13-inch).

    Mix cream of chicken soup and chicken broth and heat in saucepan until creamy.

    Add salt and pepper, pour over chicken.

    Melt margarine and add to flour and milk; mix well until lumps are smooth.

    Spoon this over chicken (do not pour).

    Bake at 450° for 30 minutes or until brown.
