- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 1/4 c. chicken broth
- 1 c. milk
- 2 c. cubed chicken
- 1 2/3 c. cooked peas and carrots
- 3 or 4 cooked potatoes, cubed
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning (optional)
- 1/8 tsp. pepper (optional)
- 1 boiled egg, chopped (optional)

Directions

1Melt butter in large skillet.

2Blend in flour.

3Cook over low heat until bubbly, stirring constantly.

4Gradually add broth and milk; cook until thick, stirring constantly.

5Stir in vegetables and seasonings and egg.

6Heat.

7Spoon chicken mixture into a 1 1/2-quart dish and top with the biscuits.

8Bake at 400° for 30 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.

9It takes about 14 biscuits, cut into quarters.
