- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 2/3 c. chicken broth
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 c. cubed cooked chicken
- 2 c. cooked vegetables (corn, carrots, peas, etc.)
- biscuit dough (recipe follows)
Directions

1In a 3-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

2Add mushrooms and onion.

3Stirring frequently, cook 2 to 3 minutes or until tender.

4Stir in cornstarch until blended.

5Remove from heat. Gradually stir in broth until smooth.

6Add salt and pepper. Stirring constantly, bring to boil over medium heat and boil 1 minute.

7Remove from heat.

8Stir in chicken and vegetables.

9Spoon into 2-quart casserole.
