- 1 hen or large fryer
- 1 can mixed vegetables, drained
- 1 small can English peas, drained
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can chicken broth
- 1 c. milk
- 1 stick oleo
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 pastry shell
Directions

1Cook chicken.

2Remove from bones; dice when cool.

3Melt butter in pan; stir in flour, soup, broth and milk.

4Cook over low heat. Stir until mixture thickens.

5Place chicken, mixed vegetables and peas in large, deep casserole dish.

6Add sauce, black pepper and salt.

7Mix well.

8Cover with pastry.

9Bake at 350° until crust is golden brown.
