Chicken Pot Pie

Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 large chicken breasts, cooked done
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 c. frozen green English peas
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 can flaky biscuits
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 4 c. peeled and cubed potatoes
  • 1 can family size cream of chicken soup
  • 2 c. frozen corn
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 3 c. broth from where chicken was cooked

Directions

    In a large oblong pan, put chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, salt and pepper.

    Stir all ingredients well.

    Add cubed potatoes, onion, English peas and corn.

    Add cubed chicken and mix thoroughly.

    Cook in oven at 375° for 40 minutes.

    Remove from oven and cover top of mixture with 20 halves of flaky biscuits. Return to oven and cook until biscuits are done and a golden brown.

    This will brown in a few minutes as mixture is already hot.

    Biscuits are broken in halves to cover the top of mixture in pan.
