  • 2 pie crusts (frozen)
  • 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • 6 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 3 c. chicken broth
  • 1 can LeSueur garden peas
  • 2 carrots, chopped small
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped small
  • 1/4 c. chopped pimento
  • noodles
  • little milk
  • whole chicken, cooked and boned

Directions

    Cook onions and carrots in butter until tender, but not brown. Blend in flour, 1 teaspoon salt and milk.

    Add broth all at once. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly.

    Add remaining ingredients in casserole and top with pie crust.

    Put in oven and brown pie crust.
