Chicken Ramen Soup

Ingredients

  • 3 cups water
  • 1 (3 ounce) package ramen noodles, chicken flavored
  • 2 cups chicken meat, cooked and chopped, white meat preferred
  • 2 leaves bok choy, sliced into thin strips
  • 1 carrot, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Directions

    Bring water to a boil in a large saucepan.

    Break up noodles and stir into pot along with chicken, bok choy, and carrot.

    Bring back to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 3 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

    Stir in contents of seasoning packet and sesame oil and serve.

    NOTE: Sometimes I leave out the seasoning packet and stir in a generous serving of chicken bouillon granules.
