Chicken Rice Casserole

  • 1 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 2 c. water
  • cut up chicken
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Wash rice; place in 3-quart casserole dish. Mix mushroom soup, onion soup and water. Pour 2/3 of mix over rice.

    Place chicken, skin down, on top of rice. Pour remaining mix over chicken. Salt and pepper to taste. Cover casserole with foil. Bake at 400° about 1 hour or until done.
