- 1/4 lb. Monterey or Gruyere cheese
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 c. fresh bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. salad oil
- 2 Tbsp. minced onions
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 (12 to 16 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
Directions

1About 45 minutes before serving, cut part of cheese into 20 to 24 (1/2-inch) cubes.

2Shred the rest; set aside.

3In large bowl with fork, mix well all the ingredients except salad oil and spaghetti sauce.

4Shape some mixture around each cheese cube to make 1 1/2-inch balls.
