Ingredients

  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 1 German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 box confectioners sugar
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Grease bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Spread pecans and coconut in bottom of pan.

    Mix cake mix according to directions on box. Pour over pecans/coconut.

    Mix confectioners sugar, margarine, cream cheese and vanilla (margarine and cream cheese may be softened in microwave).

    Pour over chocolate mixture.

    Bake for 45 minutes at 350°.

    Cake will look soft when removed from oven.
