  • 2 1/2 to 3 lb. frying chicken pieces
  • 1 envelope Shake 'n Bake seasoned coating Italian flavor
  • 1/4 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, finely grated
  • 1/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped and fried
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped

Directions

    Coat chicken with seasoned coating mix as directed on package and arrange in single layer in ungreased shallow baking pan.

    Bake at 400° for 40 to 50 minutes or until tender.

    Meanwhile, combine cheese, bacon, mayonnaise and peppers, blending well.

    Spread over baked chicken and broil for 5 minutes.
