- 13 cup water
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon dry sherry
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 3 lbs chicken parts
- orange wedge
Directions

1Combine first 5 ingredients in a medium bowl.

2Place chicken in a large, heavy skillet.

3Pour the sauce over the chicken and bring to a boil.

4Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 30 minutes; turning occasionally.

5Uncover and increase heat to medium-low and simmer until chicken is cooked and sauce is thickened; turning chicken again after about 15 minutes.

6Alternate chicken and orange wedges on a platter and serve.
