Chicken Simmered in Potato Sauce

- 300 grams Chicken breast (skinless)
- 100 grams after peeling Potatoes
- 1 Shredded leek (white part only)
- 1 tbsp Sake
- 200 ml Water
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 Salt
- 1 Vegetable oil
Directions

1Shred or julienne the white part of the Japanese leek finely and soak in a bowl of water.

2Peel the potato.

3Cut the chicken breast into 5 mm slices.

4Heat oil in a pan and saute the meat, taking care not to let it burn.

5Add the sake and water and boil for 2-3 minutes, then add the sugar, soy sauce and salt.

6Grate the potato.

7Add the grated potato and let the pan come to a simmer.

8Transfer to a serving plate and top with plenty of shredded white leek to finish.
