Chicken Sopa

  • 1 doz. corn tortillas
  • 10 oz. canned boned chicken
  • 2 small cans chopped green chilies
  • 1 lb. grated Velveeta cheese
  • 1 can chicken soup

Directions

    Place 1/3 of the tortillas in a greased casserole.

    Cover with 1/3 of the chicken, chilies and cheese.

    Repeat layers 2 times. Spread soup over top layer.

    Bake, covered, in preheated 350° oven for 20 minutes or until heated through.

    May be prepared a day in advance and refrigerated until ready to bake.

    Yields 8 servings.
