Chicken Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 1 chicken, cooked and boned
  • 12 or 16 oz. long spaghetti
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 small can English peas, drained
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c. celery, chopped
  • 1 small bell pepper
  • 1 lb. cheese (mild Cheddar), grated
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Cook chicken with skin in 2 inches of water.

    Add salt and pepper.

    Remove chicken from water and add spaghetti to water and boil until tender.

    Add boned chicken, soup and chopped vegetables and cook 10 minutes.

    Add more salt and pepper, if desired.

    Add peas, most of cheese and cook until cheese melts.

    Put in buttered casserole dish and top with remaining cheese.

    Bake until cheese melts on top.
