Ingredients

  • 1 lg. onion, chopped
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. bay leaf
  • 2 tsp. chopped fresh marjoram
  • 3/4 tsp. dried marjoram
  • 1 tbsp. chopped fresh dried oregano
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 3/4 tsp. chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1/4 tsp. dried rosemary
  • 1-1/2 cup cut-up, cooked chicken
  • turkey
  • 4 cups hot cooked spagetti noodles

Directions

    Heat all ingredients (except chicken and spaghetti) to boiling in a 10-inch skillet.

    Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Stir in chicken; cover and simmer.

    Remove bay leaf.

    Serve sauce over spagetti.
