  • 3 oz. cream cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 8 oz. Pillsbury quick crescent rolls or Italian crescents
  • 1/4 salt
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 2 c. cooked cubed chicken or 2 (5 oz.) cans
  • Kellogg's cornflake crumbs
  • 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped pimento

Directions

    Blend cream cheese and 2 tablespoons butter (reserve 1 tablespoon butter) until smooth.

    Add chicken, milk, salt, pepper, onion and pepper.

    Separate crescent dough into 4 rectangles, firmly press perforations to seal.

    Spoon 1/2 cup meat mixture onto dough.

    Pull 4 corners up to top and twist and seal edges. Brush tops with reserved butter; sprinkle crumbs.

    Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
