  • 6 to 8 slices dry bread
  • 1/2 c. minced celery
  • 1 (2 oz.) jar chopped pimiento, drained
  • 1 (6 oz.) can chopped mushrooms, drained
  • 1/4 c. minced onion
  • 1/4 c. minced green pepper
  • 4 c. diced, cooked chicken
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup

Directions

    In bowl, break bread into small pieces.

    Add vegetables and chicken. Blend in mayonnaise.

    Turn into buttered 13 x 9-inch baking pan and spread evenly. Beat eggs. Add milk and pour evenly over chicken mixture. Cover pan and refrigerate overnight.

    Next day, spread undiluted soup over filling.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
