- 4 to 6 half chicken breasts
- salt and pepper
- 1 stick margarine
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 1/2 c. sherry
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
Directions

1Season chicken with salt and pepper; brown in melted margarine.

2Remove to greased shallow casserole.

3Add sour cream, sherry and mushroom soup to melted margarine.

4Mix well and pour over chicken.

5Cover and bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours or until done.

6If using boneless, skinless chicken breasts, it will finish cooking sooner, so check after 45 minutes.

7If your pan is nonstick, you will need only a few tablespoons of margarine, not the whole stick.
