Chicken Tacos

  • 2 lb. chicken
  • 3 large tomatoes
  • 1 head lettuce
  • 13 oz. Cheddar cheese
  • 10 taco shells
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 pkg. taco seasoning (hot or mild)

Directions

    In a large Dutch oven, put chicken in water and boil until tender.

    Cool.

    While cooking chicken, cut lettuce and tomatoes up in small cubes and shred cheese.

    When chicken is cooled, tear from bone and cut up into small pieces.

    Oil a large skillet, put chicken in with one cup water.

    Add taco sauce and seasoning into chicken.
  7. 7
    Let simmer for 20 minutes.

    Ready to serve.
