Ingredients
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. cooking oil
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. sherry (optional)
- 1 tsp. garlic
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 lb. chicken, cut up
Directions

1Mix together all ingredients, except chicken, in an 11 3/4 x 1 3/4-inch dish.

2Add chicken and coat with sauce.

3Marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight in the refrigerator.

4Drain off most of the sauce.

5Cover with foil.

6Cook in hot oven until tender. Turn the chicken over and brush with drippings halfway through cooking.

7Allow to stand 5 minutes before serving.

8Serves 4 to 6.
