Chicken Vegetable Casserole

  • 8 c. cooked chicken or turkey
  • cream of mushroom soup
  • 3 (8 oz.) cans water chestnuts
  • 3 (4 oz.) cans mushrooms
  • 1 1/2 pkg. frozen California Blend of cauliflower, carrots and broccoli
  • 3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 3 Tbsp. chopped onions
  • 1 c. slivered almonds or croutons

Directions

    Cut up chicken. Combine chicken, soup, water chestnuts, mushrooms, frozen vegetables, cheese and onions. Pour into a roasting pan and bake, covered, at 360° for 1 hour. Remove cover and stir. Sprinkle with almonds or croutons and bake 15 to 30 minutes more.
