Chicken With Basil Sauce

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups homemade breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon, i use knorr
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 3 fresh basil leaves

    Preheat oven to 375.

    Halve the chicken breasts to make 4 pieces.

    Dip chicken in beaten egg and coat with breadcrumbs.

    Place on cookie sheet, drizzle with melted butter.

    Cook in oven 20-25 minutes.

    In small saucepan over medium heat evaporated milk, chicken flavor, and flour.

    When mixture thickens add ripped up basil leaves.

    Cook for 1 minute then remove from heat.

    Serve basil sauce drizzled on chicken, or in dipping dishes.
