  • 3 12 lbs chicken parts
  • 3 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1 chopped medium onion
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 3 oranges, peeled and sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • salt

Directions

    Heat cooking oil in a frying pan and cook chicken until well browned on all sides.

    Remove chicken.

    Pour off all but 2 tablespoons of drippings.

    Add onion and garlic to oil, cook until tender.

    Add chicken back with orange juice.

    Cook covered for about 45 minutes until tender.

    Serve with orange slices.
