- 1 1/2 c. rice, uncooked
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) cream of celery soup
- 3 soup cans of water
- 1 can (4 oz.) mushrooms, drained
- 1 broiler - fryer, cut up
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 Tbsp. pepper
Directions

1In a 9 x 13-inch greased baking dish, place rice and sprinkle with dry soup mix.

2Then combine soup, water and mushrooms; pour 1/2 over rice.

3Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper.

4Place chicken in single layer on rice.

5Pour remaining one half soup mixture over chicken.

6Cover tightly.

7Bake at 350° for 2 hours. Just before serving fluff rice gently with fork.
