- 1 envelope dehydrated onion soup mix
- 1 c. rice
- 2 1/2 lb. chicken (thighs or breasts)
- 1 can chicken broth or cream of chicken soup or cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. water or chicken broth
Directions

1Sprinkle dry soup mix on bottom of ungreased 9 x 13-inch or larger pan or baking dish.

2Wash rice and place on top of dry onion soup.

3Place chicken on top of rice.

4Pour milk and water or milk and chicken broth over chicken and rice.

5Bake, uncovered, at 325° for 2 hours.

6Watch carefully towards end.

7Add water, if needed.

8If browning too fast, cover with foil.
