- 1 c. cooked rice
- 1 to 4 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. chicken, cut up
- flour
- 1 pkg. onion soup mix
- 1 can cream of mushroom or cream of celery soup
Directions

1Place rice in 2-quart casserole. Cover with water, salt and pepper.

2Dredge chicken in flour.

3Place over rice in one layer, if possible.

4Sprinkle with onion soup and mushroom soup.

5Cover and bake at 325° to 350° for 1 to 2 hours.

6Remove cover. Brown for 30 minutes longer.

7Yields 4 to 6 servings.
