- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 (4 oz.) cans green chiles, cut in halves crosswise and seeded
- 1 1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. bottled hot pepper sauce
Directions

1Brown meat and onion together. Layer chiles, cheese, meat and chiles in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

2Mix together flour, salt, eggs, milk and hot pepper sauce.

3Pour over.

4Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes.

5Cool before cutting.
