- 1 c. half and half
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 c. flour
- 3 (4 oz.) cans whole green chiles
- 1/2 lb. grated Jack cheese
- 1/2 lb. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Directions

1Beat half and half with eggs and flour until smooth.

2Split open chiles, rinse out seeds and drain on paper towel.

3Mix cheeses.

4Reserve 1/2 cup for topping.

5Make alternate layers of remaining cheese, chiles and egg mixture in deep 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.

6Pour tomato sauce over top.

7Sprinkle with reserved cheese.

8Bake in 350° oven for 1 1/2 hours or until cooked in center.
