Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb Extra lean ground beef
  • 2 clove Garlic, minced
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • 1 can Chopped stewed tomatoes (15 ounce)
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 can Pinto beans, drained (15 ounces)
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Directions

    In a large saucepan, cook ground beef, garlic, and onion over medium heat, stirring until beef is browned.

    Drain well.

    Stir tomatoes with liquid, broth, chili powder, cumin, oregano into beef mixture.

    Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer.

    stirring occasionally, for one hour.

    Add pinto beans and salt.

    Cook, stirring for 15 minutes longer.

    Top with shredded cheese, chopped onions and sour cream!
