Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 large yellow onions
  • 2 green peppers
  • 1 lb. ground round
  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1/2 lb. ground pork
  • 2 large cloves garlic
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. red peppers (pizza)
  • 1 Tbsp. cumin
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 3 lb. 4 oz. can kidney beans

Directions

    Saute onions and green peppers (large dice) in 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil and 1 tablespoon chili powder.

    Remove. Brown meat in 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil. Add minced garlic the last 4 minutes with 1 tablespoon chili powder.

    Add all other ingredients including onions and green peppers, except extra bean juice.

    Simmer over low heat 1 to 2 hours, adding bean juice as needed.
