- 1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. salt
- 6 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 scant tsp. comino powder
- 4 tsp. paprika
- 2 Tbsp. ground red pepper
- 2 cloves crushed garlic
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 jalapeno peppers
- 3 c. water
- 1 pt. tomato juice (optional)
Directions

1Render suet until cream colored.

2Remove suet, leaving the liquid.

3Add meat; cook until lightly brown.

4Add onion and salt; cook 20 minutes on low heat.

5Add other ingredients and cook 1 hour or until meat is tender.

6Add water if needed or tomato juice.
