- 2 lb. hamburger
- 1 medium onion
- 2 large cans tomato sauce
- 2 small cans tomato paste
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. cumin
- salt to taste
- a little pepper
Directions

1Brown hamburger; drain excess fat, if any.

2Chop onion and add to hamburger.

3Cook over medium heat until onion is done.

4Add tomato sauce and tomato paste.

5Mix together; add chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, salt and pepper.

6Cover and simmer on low heat for several hours.

7Stir occasionally.

8You may add 2 cans of kidney beans the last hour, if desired.
