  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 stalks celery
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 large can tomato juice or V-8 juice
  • 1 large can stewed tomatoes or 2 small cans
  • 1 can red beans

    Brown hamburger, onion and celery.

    Add chili powder; simmer for about 1 hour or longer.
